We continue to witness large/collective/public and corrupted power structures reveal themselves. If we remain present, we can set ourselves up to take advantage of the moment. Allowing us to build anew with sustainability and humanity woven into the foundation so that malevolent power dynamics are less likely to recur.
The same can be said for what's going on for all of us personally. In some way, and at some point, we will have to confront and release all that no longer serves us. Without doing so, moving forward can feel and be impossible. The same rules apply even in the personal domain. If one can remain present, then calamity is transformed into a springboard of opportunity.
What's the Rebel Yell? Collectively, we can roar our agency and defiance in the face of dark agents, both external and internal. If we continue to develop our Self-Love and Self-Compassion practices, even when it feels pointless, terrifying, or wrong, then we will be better. We can choose ourselves and choose to love ourselves just as we are, and this internal resource of great love will be more easily shared with others, even in the most challenging of situations.
