Why the pause is your most dangerous weapon.

Magic needs a place to land.

Why the pause is your most dangerous weapon.
Magic needs a place to land.

Continuous doing will make you feel powerful while quietly stealing your capacity to integrate.

I know this, because pausing has been historically very hard for me. That’s the nice way for me to admit I’ve been hurt by not doing so. Don’t be like me. Do better!

Giving myself the space and time to rest felt foreign or like a waste of time for most of my life. Makes sense. Productivity addiction is real. My brain naturally wants to build, run, and scale incessantly.

Part of my rehabilitation from that trauma response is to take strategic pauses even if I don’t want to.

Here’s what I get from my uncomfortable pause practice:

  • Less burnout.
  • More efficient strength training, because my physical body gets to actually recoup.
  • Cleaner perspective on the big picture of my business and life.
  • Time for my consciousness to absorb what I have learned.
  • Access to the parts of myself that “continuous doing” leaves behind.
  • More creativity.
  • A chance to ask: Do I actually like what I’m building? Do I like how I’m living?

Witch Wisdom: Magic without integration is just manic performance.

We’ve been doing a lot of learning together recently.

The ancestral lineage work alone felt enormous. Introducing Artificial Intelligence in the form of Estrellita was also a huge step forward for our whole community into an unknown and very exciting future. The Vault pieces have helped us further integrate and develop our magical skills.

Our tissues have been activated, so now we follow the next natural step: deactivation, down regulation and rest.

It is critical for intentional witches to take time to reflect.

So inside The Body Magic School, August is Integration Month.

This is your invitation to return to what is already waiting for you in the Vault and repeat it until it becomes instinct.

You’ll see two newsletters from me instead of four. We are still entering the live Witch’s Salon this month, but for one specific reason: to practice the advanced art of slowing down together.

If you are exhausted from a timeline of continuous doing, August is not a waiting room. It is the ideal container for paced absorption.

Use the quietest month in the School to slip into the portal, clear your psychic static, repeat the foundational work, and let your baseline crystallize before Fall Semester opens.

Arrive in September resourced, dangerous, and integrated.

Enroll and prepare for Fall Semester:

Enjoy the chill vibe,
